Public Comment

The applicant for a sidewalk café permit must post notice of the application in a prominent place at the proposed location, clearly visible from the adjacent sidewalk. The notice must be posted throughout the comment period, and must remain posted for at least 10 days after the permit is issued.

Comments regarding the sidewalk café application will be accepted thru April 8, 2009. Comments should be submitted via email to annualpermits@seattle.gov or by mail to:

How To Request a Decision Review or Reconsideration of an SDOT Decision

SDOT will make an application decision after the public comment period has closed.
the notice of decision will be posted to the Land Use Information Bullentin.

Any person may request a review or reconsideration of a decision made by SDOT. The request must be in writing and sent within 10 days of the decision posting to the Director of Transportation. The request must identify the application number, grounds for objecting to the decision based on City standards and the specific remedy being proposed. SMC 15.04.112
